Conway County District Court is comprised of 1 District Judge (elected official, 4 year term), 1 Head Court Clerk, and 4 Deputy Court Clerks. The District Court provides fair, impartial and timely adjudication of misdemeanor offenses for both the City of Morrilton and Conway County. The District Court schedules court appearances, collects and distributes funds for both city and county, issues warrants, makes decisions on judicial dispositions, and handles both small and civil claims.

The District Court Clerk is clerk of misdemeanor, traffic, civil and small claims which exercises county-wide jurisdiction over misdemeanor and traffic cases, and civil and small claim cases in matters of less than $5,000. A small claims division of district court provides a forum in which citizens represent themselves to resolve minor civil matters.
